Project Overview
Proud to be contracted for another transformative educational fitout for the Department of Education via Coffey Projects. Project works included the demolition and refurbishment of two amenities blocks including the removal of existing partitions, joinery, toilet facilities and sections of block wall as well as an overhaul of the existing facilities with extensive glazing, painting, waterproofing, toilet partitions, ceiling works, floor coverings and building services.
Methodology & Key Learnings
Working in an occupied open school environment, the project required careful management of contractors, deliveries and trades to minimise disruption to students, teachers and stakeholders. Asbestos was also found during these works and needed to be appropriately and safely contained and removed outside of school hours.
